This beautiful farmhouse is the ideal place to arrange a relaxed, intimate and casual wedding. It is ideal to rest, for holidays, leisure and outdoor life. Placed on hills, it is just 10 km far from Prato and 18 km from Florence, immersed in the marvellous countryside of Tuscany which, with its colours, panoramic view and unique landscape, is framed in its XV century stone building.
The Tenuta estate lies on 30 hectares, the structure of the farm holidays, and the holiday apartments are surrounded by a wide park where flowers and perfumes alternate to seasons, with olive trees and wine yards that produce a wide and good selection of oil and wine. The friendly and familiar hospitality of the village keeps the guest in a quite and relaxing atmosphere. Don¡¯t forget the farm. Near to the main building, a beautiful area for picnic is equipped with a barbecue, bowl field and garden games for kids. It is possible to hike or mountainbiking in the wood. In the woods it's not difficult to see local wild animals, such as: hares, pheasants, wild boars and deer. During the stay, guests can choose to spend the time in the swimming pool or playing minigolf or ping-pong. It will be soon built stables for horse training and riding; and half-covered outdoor areas in order to keep cats and dogs. We can organize cooking and gardening lessons if requested. You can book to participate to the September October grape-harvest.
The surroundings
Tenuta is the ideal starting point to begin a cultural route because it's just 1 km far from Medici Villas, tombs and the Etruscan Museum. Vinci is 10 km far and the freeway FI-PI-LI is just 1 km away in order to visit the historical town of Florence and Siena. Few km away you can find Prato with its historical centre and its important contemporary art museum.

The Borgo has six apartments and nine rooms, furnished with taste, elegance, comfort and modern furniture. It can be book in exclusive rental us and sleep up to 45 guests (min. 2 nights)
Wedding receptions
It is possible to organize a wedding reception tailored made it in your style and wishes. Country style outdoor weddings organized with ¡°picnic¡± table cloths on the terrace overlooking the Chianti hills or more refined reception arrangements with white table cloths and organza with a minimalist touch of candles and simple flower composition. Everything is possible as the views, the rustic but sober buindings, the swimming pool and the style of service let our planners to work in totally comfort and relax. If the location is booked in exclusive use than you can have dance until late in the morning!
Wedding ceremonies
As usual we can arrange any type of ceremony directly at the villa or in the near churches. Civil weddings can also be performed in the near town hall. | |
