It's maybe one of the most beautiful castles in Italy for the original construction: the older part of this Italian castle was built in the 11th century, nowadays the castle still retains the appearance of a real fortress. It is only 40 minutes east of Siena, in a quite and green hilly area in a very useful position to drive on the highway to Florence, Siena and Rome. Located in the heart of a small tiny village and surrounded by beautiful restored farmhouses: nice accommodations for guests staying in the area. The antique medieval courtyard is the perfect setting for a romantic reception dinner and the outdoor garden is the right location for a nice welcome cocktail. The specialty of the castle is also the beautiful indoor hall, that in case of bad weather, can host a beautiful reception dinner without losing the charm of ancient times!
